The Old Vineyard is an individual, architect-designed house sitting in 1/3 of an acre of garden in the small village of Merton. It is off the main road and has extensive views over open farm/parkland. The house was built in 2006/7 of local stone, slate and wood and blends very sympathetically with the surrounding environment. The property incorporates several “green” features, including uprated insulation and heating via a ground-source heat pump.

Meals are served in our large conservatory and we are happy to cater to your tastes – from the traditional “full English” to a lighter alternative. Wherever possible we source our ingredients locally including fresh produce from our own garden when in season. 

 

We can offer secure storage for cycles/golf clubs/fishing tackle etc, and off-road parking. Please feel free to give us a call to discuss any particular requirements you may have. It is our aim to provide you with  comfortable, relaxed  accommodation during your stay. 

 



    Rooms are en-suite, with a large airy conservatory
                         for dining and relaxing.
